COVID-19 led to a change in thinking, particularly with regard to the workplace. In general, we are focusing more on personal responsibility: Each employee has his or her own workstation as well as the technical equipment for a home office job.


During the induction period, it is important to us that the new employees are present in the office. Only through direct presence do they get to experience the social and cultural impressions and customs and have the opportunity to integrate and create their own network.

REMUNERATION

REMUNERATION

Our starting salaries, which are in line with the market, are classed according to the respective professional prerequisites. We do not only consider your degree and practical experience, but also your non-academic achievements and commitments as a whole.


In addition to salary, our colleagues can take advantage of our benefits and services. Among other things, we offer financial and time support for taking professional exams, full overtime compensation, wedding and birth bonuses, and our employee discount program.

As a sporty balance, employees can often be found jogging together in the Westpark, mountain biking in the foothills of the Alps or playing soccer in the Bavariapark. Our newest sport at the ALR is tennis – be it doubles or singles, anyone who wants to join the team is welcome!


The following applies to all sports groups: You can do everything, but you don’t have to! We don't believe in obligatory pseudo-group events.


And we regularly participate in the Munich Marathon relay race - with the help of our Leipzig colleagues.

EATING AND DRINKING

We are often asked about the practicalities of life in job interviews. Rightfully so! That, of course, includes lunch. Many of our team members eat together in our large kitchen. We think that's great because it promotes exchange and the odd friendship is formed. When the weather is nice, we can enjoy our breaks on our two roof terraces.


Coffee junkie or fruit lover? In our well-equipped kitchen, everything from still water and a professional fully automatic coffee machine to a fruit basket awaits you.

FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS

FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS

Working time is lifetime! Therefore, it is important that the working time is harmonious for all parties involved. For the sake of our clients, we have agreed on an availability from 9 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday and until 1 PM on Fridays. Apart from this, working hours can be arranged flexibly.


But let’s be honest: As a service provider, we are not an overtime-free zone. We average 42 hours per week across all occupational groups. The difference at ALR is how we handle it: You can work off your overtime, accumulate it and use it for the consultant exam, or simply cash it out.

FLAT HIERARCHIES

FLAT HIERARCHIES

In our firm we enjoy the benefits of flat hierarchies. The individual teams are directly led by one of our partners and within the teams we allow professionally experienced colleagues to take on professional leadership responsibilities. Our experience is that this provides our employees with a framework in which they can work in a self-determined and independent manner. We make sure that everyone has short communication channels and is close to the management at the same time.

FAMILY AND CAREER

FAMILY AND CAREER

Flexible working time arrangements, part-time models, home office and a modern office infrastructure, as well as the conversion of childcare costs, create the freedom to balance professional goals with family life.


Parental leave for fathers is not something we turn up our noses at. Young fathers should be given the freedom to enjoy family life. Our approach is to give women and men the same career opportunities. There is no "either - or" with us. And finally, we also provide a financial treat for the birth, so that the little one's start in life goes well (at least financially).

DIGITAL WORK

DIGITAL WORK

Like many other auditing and tax firms, we are in the middle of the digital transformation. We have already successfully mastered many challenges: We work successfully with DATEV modules such as Unternehmen Online, Digital Report Generation, Digital Signature and DATEV DMS.


Working sustainably - This is a matter of concern to us. And we are constantly working on improvements. The entire workday at ALR can be largely paperless. In addition to laptops and hardware, all employees can use our entire arsenal of tools, from video calls to digital signatures or virtual workgroups to digital notebooks.

We feel that if friendships are formed in our firm, we have done a few things right. It is our philosophy that our team members should work together to complete our assignments with a quality result. The best way to do that is to work and act as a team. Without patting ourselves on the back too much, we know from feedback from our team members that most of them would readily agree with the statement "At ALR, everyone helps each other." That's a good thing, and we strive to keep it that way every day.

Profession comes from vocation! But: The profession should never be the sole purpose of life. That's why we create an environment that leaves time for other areas of life. We are convinced that employees with a fulfilling "life outside work" are more balanced and team-oriented.


One example is our exam candidates who regularly attend evening classes. Because with flexible working time models, fixed teams and well-thought-out processes, we create an environment that makes it possible to leave the office on time.

EVENTS

EVENTS

Our corporate events are already firmly embedded in the ALR culture. Together we visit cities and walk on their cultural paths. Either as a day trip or as a 2-day event. The event is rounded off with a nice evening event and a cozy finale with a tasty drink.


In addition, the individual teams get together for joint events and enjoy an evening in an informal atmosphere at a wine tasting, beer garden or other outing.


And of course, with our location directly at the Theresienwiese, a visit to the Oktoberfest has become a cherished tradition over the years.

In the interests of our ecological footprint, we would like to encourage our employees to use public transport for journeys between home and work. We support you in this by reimbursing the costs tax-free.


For those who use cars, we provide a contingent of employee parking spaces in our building. For those who travel with an electric vehicle, we have several electric charging stations directly in front of the office building.
