On my first day at ALR Treuhand, I first realized how big the firm is and how many employees work there. Prior to my employment at ALR Treuhand, I had not yet been employed in a tax consulting or auditing firm and I was hoping for a varied job, nice colleagues and superiors. You don’t immediately see from the outside what the processes are like, what the hierarchies are and how you are integrated into the company.
We have several partners and different teams, which in turn have team leaders. These teams are divided into different working groups, which deal with the improvement of the respective office structures. Also, in addition to their actual work – tax consulting or auditing – our bosses have various organizational areas, such as human resources, accounting, IT-DATEV, etc.
The doors are always open at ALR
To be honest, my first fear was “Oh dear, that could be fun. Here I’ll probably have to wait a long time until the boss has time for me and if there are problems, the issue will first go to a team leader. “Today I can say “far from it”:
The doors are always open, no matter who. I can knock at any time and briefly ask something. However, if the doors are closed (important client meetings on the phone), you simply write an e-mail and get a call back or a reply. Personally, I think that’s a great advantage.
All in all, I can say that there is a flat hierarchy at ALR Treuhand and that I can turn to all partners and colleagues at any time.
